We apologize for the lack of posts last week. Last Thursday, some of the CRs went up to Phoenix to attend a victory rally for future Governor Doug Ducey, with Governor Romney! It was an amazing event and a great kickoff for election season. We also had the pleasure of meeting future treasurer Jeff DeWit, who was also our guest speaker at our meeting!
This week was another great week for the U of A CRs! On Monday, we were able to meet U.S. House Majority Whip Steve Scalise at the Pima County GOP Office. He was in Tucson to support our friends, Martha McSally and Ethan Orr!
On Thursday we hosted our weekly meeting with guest speaker, and future Arizona treasurer, Jeff Dewit. It was great talking with Mr. Dewit about the future of Arizona. A huge thank you to him for bringing pizza to our meeting!
We also had a great weekend doing the last push of campaigning before Tuesday! Even some Arizona State College Republicans and Embry-Riddle College Republicans came down to Tucson to help us out. Some CRs went north to Phoenix to campaign for the next governor of Arizona, Doug Ducey.
