On Wednesday, October 8th, our first "Head to Head" article ran in the Daily Wildcat. Each week, we will be debating the University of Arizona Young Democrats on important issues, this week's topic was environmental policy. {click here to read}
On Thursday, October 9th, Alexis Barcello (Director of Membership) and Jack Donahue (Sergeant at Arms) tabled on the Mall. It was great exposure for the club and it was awesome getting to meet some new members! We also held our weekly meeting on Thursday. Carolyn Cox, chairwoman of the Pima County GOP, was our guest speaker and it was great listening to her speak about entitlements and our duties as young conservatives. We also enjoyed free Eegee's, complements of the Executive Board!
On Saturday, October 11th, a few CRs walked for Martha McSally, Ethan Orr, and LD 10 candidates. Can you believe there are only 22 days until Election Day?
